Palace & heritage weddings

Weddings inside living monuments — Bangalore Palace, Mysore Palace, forts and havelis across India.

Heritage venues come with rules that ordinary banquet halls do not: load limits on floors, restrictions on rigging and anchoring, conservation-approved lighting, controlled access windows, separate permissions for fire, sound and drone. We hold the relationships and the paperwork, so the family is negotiating a wedding rather than a permit file.

Udaipur, Jaipur, Goa, Kerala, and overseas — planned end to end from Bengaluru.

One team travels with you. We handle venue contracting, room blocks, guest movement, vendor import, customs on decor and attire where relevant, and a local production crew briefed to our standards rather than the venue’s.

Concept, drawings, material sampling, fabrication and install — under one roof.

Every function is drawn before it is built: plan view, elevations, material boards, lighting plot. You approve a drawing, not a mood board, so what arrives on the day is what you signed off.

Arrivals, hospitality desks, transport, room allotment, hampers and departures.

For a 400-guest wedding, roughly a third of everything that can go wrong is logistical. We run a hospitality desk with a named lead per guest cohort, a transport grid, and a room chart that survives contact with a family of late confirmations.

The four days around the wedding, treated with the same rigour as the wedding.

Choreography, artist management, sound and stage design, and a run-of-show that keeps a sangeet from ending ninety minutes late and pushing the next morning’s muhurta.

Nothing here is decorative. Each stage exists because skipping it costs money later.

    Enquiry

    A conversation, not a pitch.

    We ask about the families, the guest count, the dates you are working around and the budget you are comfortable committing. If we are not the right studio for the wedding, we say so and point you elsewhere.

    Muhurta & venue

    Dates first, then the venue that fits them.

    Auspicious dates constrain everything downstream. We shortlist venues that are actually available and actually capable of the functions you want, then walk them with you.

    Design

    Drawn, sampled, costed, approved.

    A design language for the full sequence of events, with drawings and material samples. Costs are itemised against each drawing so nothing is a surprise at install.

    Production

    Permissions, vendors, build.

    Contracting, permits, fabrication, rehearsals, and a build calendar that respects a heritage venue’s access windows.

    The days themselves

    You are a guest at your own wedding.

    A run-of-show to the minute, a named lead on every function, and a crew whose job is to make sure no one in your family is asked to solve a problem.

How far in advance should we begin?
For a palace or heritage venue, twelve to eighteen months is comfortable and nine is tight. Permissions and venue availability, not design, are what set the floor.
What size of wedding do you take on?
We work across a wide range, from intimate ceremonies to multi-day weddings of well over a thousand guests. We take a limited number of weddings a year so that a senior member of the studio is present on every one.
How do you charge?
Either a planning and design fee against a defined scope, or a percentage of the production budget for full turnkey delivery. We put the structure in writing before any design work starts.
Can you work with a venue we have already booked?
Yes. We are frequently brought in after a venue is confirmed, and we are equally happy to take over from an earlier planner mid-project.
Do you handle NRI and destination families?
Regularly. We plan around arrival windows, run guest communication across time zones, and manage room blocks and transport for guests flying in.
